I’m sure you are aware of the important role that BSCAH plays in helping people whose lives are impacted by food-insecurity. Did you know that more than 400 families visit offices daily, sadly we only have enough space to hold 11 at a time and our friends and neighbors often brave inclement and extreme weather for our critical services.
When our construction is complete we will have the ability to more than double our waiting area and increase direct services which will cut our waiting time by more than half. Additionally we will be able to double our community education efforts. Together, these changes will increase our impact and help thousands more family become independent.
The renovations on our proposed new space are almost done and the next step will be appliances, furniture and supplies. Please help us below with a donation or pledge towards this project. In the wake of the Holiday season, we are expecting over 100,000 people to converge on our offices in these last months of the year and even more next year! If last winter was any indication of what is to come, we have to meet the needs of the community. Please help us ensure that all 30,000 of our families wait with dignity. Without the continued support of generous donors like you, these needs will likely go unmet.
In order to continue making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by our work, it is vital for this campaign to be a success. By making a tax deductible donation to our capital campaign, you’ll be directly contributing to people struggling to cope with temporary hardships and children overcome generational food-insecurity. Additionally, you’ll be recognized for your generosity as our very first capital campaign supporter and listed in our annual report.
