The Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger continues to bring healthy food to community members in Coney Island, as part of our ongoing Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts. With children at home over the summer, families are under pressure to provide more meals. Many rely upon us to meet their nutritional needs. We are now closer to achieving this goal, having implemented a “table choice” system so that individuals and families can select items based on their own needs and preferences. You can read the NY1 report about these efforts and watch a video here: http://brooklyn.ny1.com/content/top_stories/186203/anti-hunger-campaign-continues-to-feed-coney-island-community-long-after-sandy
